Greg Torok

Greg Torok joined the VBOA as the Director of Human Resources in August 2022.  In this role, he administers HR policy compliance, aids in employee relations, and serves as the senior liaison with company leadership.

Greg served on active duty in the US Army for over twenty years where he held numerous staff and leadership assignments.  He was stationed in various locations around the US, as well as assignments in Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq.  Upon his military retirement, he worked in South Carolina state government for nearly seven years, first as the HR Director for the SC Department of Motor Vehicles and later as the Director of Employee Relations at the University of South Carolina.

He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Tarleton State University.  Greg is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Greg and his wife have been blessed with two wonderful daughters.  He is an avid Alabama Crimson Tide football fan, but also enjoys cheering for both the Clemson Tigers and USC Gamecocks.  He enjoys exercising, traveling, backyard grilling and being outdoors.
